Products

Idaho Seamless Gutter offers many different products. We are fully aware that our clients are bombarded with hundreds of different product options when it comes to gutter systems. You can take heart that we have tried and tested many different products on our own homes and shops so that we know exactly how each one performs and which products are the best to offer to our valued clients.

Seamless K-Style Gutter

Seamless K-Style gutters are by far the most popular and widely used gutter profile for gutter installation Meridian ID has to offer. Why do they call it K-style? Great question. The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA) is an international trade association that helps set standards for all aspects of the sheet metal industry, including gutter systems. Gutters have many different profiles, or shapes. When the SMACNA listed out all the different styles and profiles of gutter designs, the eleventh on the list was assigned the letter “K”, and this popular profile has been referred to “K-style” ever since.

K-style gutters have a finished, crown molding look that works well with all different kinds of building designs. K-style gutters not only look great but are very efficient in moving water. The dimensions of the design are such that the gutter is able to catch the maximum amount of water coming off the roof and carry it to the intended downspout to get the water safely away from the structure of the building.

Call our gutter installation Meridian ID office today to set up a free quote for a new K-style gutter system. Our experienced team will be able to assess your home or commercial building and design a gutter system that will be a custom fit. Our K-style gutter machine has the capacity to create either 5” or 6” K-style gutters, depending on the size, slope and style of your roof. 99% of the gutter systems we create are made from aluminum. The standard gauge of an aluminum gutter is .027 although we can order a thicker .032 gauge if desired. We also have the ability to create a gutter system out of steel, instead of aluminum if desired.

“Can you paint the gutters after they are installed?” This is a common question we receive. The simple answer is yes gutters can be painted… but that would be option B. Although an experienced painter can correctly prepare and paint gutters effectively, the best option would be to paint the house first and then match the house paint to one of our 25 options of gutter colors. The factory, baked-on enamel is option A and will stand the test of time better than painting gutters after they are installed on the building.

Downspouts or Rain Chains

Seamless gutters are only half of the gutter system, the other half is the downspouts. At Idaho Seamless Gutter, we have many different types of downspouts to choose from. The most popular and economical would be the rectangular style of downspout. Our team from the gutter installation Meridian ID office has the calculators and experience to figure out what size of downspout will be required for each specific situation. Most 5” gutter systems will require a 2”x3” rectangular downspout. Most 6” gutter systems will require a 3”x4” rectangular downspout.

Idaho Seamless Gutter most commonly installs an aluminum, rectangular, corrugated downspout. The aluminum downspout is corrugated to create strength and rigidity. The downspouts are custom cut and installed to each location using specific elbows, offsets and brackets to ensure strength and functionality. Because Idaho Seamless Gutter offers one of the strongest warranties available, we are careful to source the strongest and most reliable material in the industry.

Another option that is very popular for Idaho homes would be to use a Rain Chain. Rain Chains are an aesthetic option to replace the traditional downspout look. Our team has replaced many poorly installed rain chains over the years and because of that, we have developed a tried and true process to install a rain chain that will not only stand up to Idaho weather, but will last as long as your home is standing. Idaho Seamless Gutter clients don’t need to worry about which leaf guard product is right for their home, we are here to help.

Scott and Ben have literally put field tested an assortment of leaf guard products on their own homes and shops. From their experience of repairing and removing different styles of leaf guard over the years, they made a list of the top 7 leaf guard products. Then they installed each different product on different sections of their homes and shops. When it would rain, they would be out inspecting and observing how each different system worked. Through this process, they narrowed the field down to 3 different products.
